In order to obtain an adequate aesthetic result, correct planning of the case is necessary, as well as a correct three-dimensional placement of the implant and correct management of the soft tissues around the implant, in terms of the surgical profile and the prosthesis. The correct choice of materials also helps obtaining a natural aspect of both the white dental components and the pink gingival component.
Today, with the advent of the so-called “metal-free” materials and CAD-CAM technologies, implant-supported prosthetic solutions are varied and increasingly more effective. This case report illustrates the prosthetic refinement of a Sweden & Martina implant (Outlink2, ø 3.75, 1, 13 mm) positioned in the edentulous zone of an upper left side incisor. The cement-retained prosthesis was placed with the use of the Sweden & Martina CAD-CAM ECHO system, which allowed fabricating an individual implant abutment in zirconium and subsequently an all-ceramic crown.
