Drills for feather edge preparation

Vertical preparation of the natural post to allow the adaptation of the mucosa to the prosthetic profiles determined by the crowns.
The technique, documented by long clinical experience, has shown that it guarantees medium- and long-term stability of the tissues.
This selection of diamond burs allows the performance of all the clinical steps for the preparation of the natural post, from the mesiodistal separation of the dental element from the adjacent teeth to the preparation of all the planes.
The assortment includes 17 diamond burs with different shapes and grits, the morphology of which allows them to work in such a way as not to create steps or gutters that prevent the correct and natural adaptation of the mucosa. The different grits allow gradual polishing of the post so as to obtain an optimum surface finish.
Together with the assortment of burs a handy stainless steel case is supplied which is sterilizable and autoclavable and allows the instruments to be organized in an ergonomic fashion.
An assortment of rotary instruments is available allowing dentists to perform all the steps of finishing and adapting temporary resin posts for the restoration of vertical posts. This phase is very important for a successful outcome of the vertical technique, because it enables the definition with great precision of the inter-proximal spaces that will be occupied by the soft tissues. Also available in the assortment are instruments for polishing the gingival portion, for an optimum management of the intrasulcular section.
