Numeri Uno, 22: 26-28, 2015
The 62 year old patient complains of masticatory and aesthetic disfunctions. After the clinical and X-ray study of the case a new prosthetic rehabilitation is suggested. The realization of a zirconium-ceramic prosthesis loaded on 6 implants is a suitable solution, in order to satisfy our needs as well as of the patient.
The protocol provides for the extraction of elements 15, 14, 13, 21, 23, 24, and 25 and the insertion of 5 post-extraction implants. For the periapical abscess of 15 there is a 2 months waiting period for the healing of the site and the sixth implant insertion. Elements 12, 22 and 27 are maintained, supporting the temporary prosthesis during the osseointegration phase, ensuring stability and satisfying masticatory abilities for the patient. For the realization of this case 6 Premium implants were used.
