Sweden & Martina conical surgical drills

04/07/2018

The first step of a successful implant-supported restoration is a successful surgery, with a safety and fast implant site preparation, without causing bone stress.
This is possible thanks to Sweden & Martina surgical drills, characterised by a special design giving a great cutting capacity in reduced time, modelling the implant site without the need for the clinician to exert pressure. Furthermore, the black laser marking on the cutting edges and the use of stops ensure a total safety implant site preparation, as well as the verification of the depth of the preparation.
Sweden & Martina has designed specific drills for the insertion of tapered morphology implants, with four straight cutting edges and a straight edge cut, meant to both prepare the implant site and collect bone that can be used for grafting, in cases of flapless surgery as well as traditional surgery with raising flaps.
The pictures show how, when using the conical drills, the bone remains attached to the cutting edge of the drill, resulting then easily reusable as autologous graft material.
The conical surgical drills, as all Sweden & Martina drills, are made of stainless surgical steel, with high resistance to corrosion and wear.
