The replacement of a single tooth, regardless of its position, must achieve a satisfactory functional and aesthetic outcome. In order to achieve accurate biomimicry in relation to the adjacent regions, various objectives must be contextually met:
- rapid osseointegration;
- stability of the hard tissues;
- biological seal of the connections;
- stability of the soft tissues. These aspects must also be long-lasting in order to achieve a highly predictable outcome and a high success rate. As the case below will illustrate, the features of the CSR implant fully meet all these requirements. Thanks to its macro-morphology, the CSR implant combines the advantages of a conical implant with the benefits of a parallel-walled implant:
- its conical shape and incisions on the apex exert an osteotomic effect, while the body of the implant, which has almost parallel walls, ensures excellent primary stability even in poor quality bone. At the same time, the exclusive treatment of the surface ensures rapid osseointegration, facilitating optimal primary healing in cases of immediate loading.
